Korn/Ferry Executive Brings Broad Range of Business Expertise
(CHANDLER, Ariz.) – ProLink Solutions – a wholly-owned subsidiary of ProLink Holdings Corp. (OTC BB: PLKH.OB) and the world’s leading provider of Global Positioning Satellite (“GPS”) golf course management systems and digital out-of-home on-course advertising – announced today that Richard Spitz, Global Managing Director of Korn/Ferry International’s Technology Market has joined its new Strategic Advisory Board.
In his role with Korn/Ferry, Spitz handles high-profile searches for senior executives on behalf of public corporations, as well as leading pre-IPO, emerging technology, software, hardware, electronic systems, information technology, communications and convergence media companies. Spitz also boasts extensive experience in business planning, venture capital investment, licensing, and technology and entertainment law.
Spitz becomes the second member of ProLink’s Strategic Advisory Board, joining PGA TOUR veteran Brad Faxon. Once finalized, the Advisory Board will have up to six members from a variety of professional backgrounds. The board will meet regularly and provide the company expert advice on a range of topics to bolster ProLink’s industry-leading technology, golfer-friendly platform, customer support and internal operations. The Advisory Board will operate independently from ProLink’s seven-member Board of Directors.
“ProLink is poised for impressive growth in both global system and advertising sales. I’m honored to join the company’s Strategic Advisory Board at such an exciting time,” Spitz says. “Golf courses have realized that adding ProLink GPS to their facilities is a sound financial decision, and I look forward to helping the company further enhance its status as the industry leader in management solutions.”
Adds Lawrence D. Bain, CEO of ProLink Solutions: “We’re thrilled to welcome Richard to ProLink’s Strategic Advisory Board. His wide base of knowledge across a multitude of business categories will be extremely valuable as we develop new ways to keep ProLink on the cutting edge of technology and support.”
Spitz has spoken before the Venture Capital Institute, IBF Venture Capital Conference, the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies, the MIT/Caltech Enterprise Forum and the Anderson School of Business on leadership issues. He has also authored several articles on structuring complex transactions and organizing tax advantaged entities, as well as lecturing on complex tax issues before well-respected schools and professional organizations.
Spitz is currently on the board of advisors to the Harold Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at UCLA’s Anderson School of Business. He earned a master’s in law from New York University Law School, and a juris doctor from Tulane University Law School. He received a bachelor’s of science in business administration, with a concentration in finance, from California State University, Northridge.
