(VIENNA, VA) – Billy Casper Golf (“BCG”) – owner/operator of golf courses in 22 states, announces the promotions of Jered Wieland to Mid-West Regional Vice President, Aaron Czajka to Mid-West Regional Manager and Paul Taggart to New Jersey Regional Manager.
Wieland directs activities at BCG’s 10-course portfolio in Cook County, just outside Chicago. He began with the firm in 2003 as Southern Regional General Manager in Cook County and was promoted to Regional Manager in 2005. With 20-plus years of industry experience, Wieland has excelled in myriad disciplines of course management, including maintenance, operations and food and beverage.
Czajka’s responsibilities are expanded to focus on BCG courses in Texas and Oklahoma, including his direct management of The Village Golf Club near Houston. Among his varied experience in golf is a stint at Congressional Country Club in 1997 when it hosted the U.S. Open.
In his new role, Taggart will oversee both Royce Brook and Cranbury golf clubs in New Jersey. He joined BCG three years ago as General Manager of Lyman Orchards Golf Club (CT), followed by him being named to the same post at Royce Brook.
