(TULSA, OK) – Professional golf legend Billy Casper will visit Mohawk Park Golf Course to conduct a putting clinic, host a tournament, sign autographs and pose for photographs on Thursday, July 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Known as a wizard around the greens, Casper will give a free putting exhibition at 1 p.m. with forty special guests from The First Tee program of Tulsa in attendance. Casper will also sign autographs, pose for photos and generally entertain attendees with stories from his decades on the PGA and Champions Tours.
The Hill-Morris Foundation Charity Classic begins at 8 a.m. and tournament registration is $100 for teams of four. It includes greens fees, cart rental, practice balls before the tournament, breakfast, lunch and eligibility to win prizes. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Hill-Morris Foundation. Established by Robert Morris and Peter Hill, co-founders of Billy Casper Golf, operator of Mohawk and Page Belcher courses in Tulsa, the foundation provides a means of improving the health and well-being of BCG employees and their families.

One of the greatest players ever and beloved by fans worldwide, the affable Casper won two U.S. Opens and one Masters among his 51 tournament victories, ranking him seventh on the PGA TOUR all-time win list. Only Sam Snead (82 victories), Jack Nicklaus (72), Tiger Woods (65), Ben Hogan (64), Arnold Palmer (62) and Byron Nelson (52) have won more PGA TOUR events than Casper. From 1964 to 1970, Casper won more tournaments than “The Big Three” – Nicklaus, Palmer and Gary Player – combined.
