NORTHBROOK, Ill., July 2, 2008 – KemperSports recently announced the promotion of Gary Binder to executive vice president. In his new assignment, Binder will continue to oversee the owned and member properties within KemperSports’ expanding portfolio, while also taking a lead role in other corporate initiatives.
Binder, a 30-year golf industry veteran, joined KemperSports in 2006 as a senior vice president. Since then, his responsibilities have grown to include oversight of KemperSports’ collection of owned properties as well as the member club group, key segments of the company’s portfolio.

Binder will continue to be based in KemperSports’ corporate headquarters in Northbrook, Ill., which is also his city of residence.
