Alexandria, VA – September 26, 2008 – During its annual Leadership/Legislative Conference on September 12 – 15, the Club Managers Association of America launched a redesigned Web site at www.cmaa.org. Since appearing on the Web in 1995, CMAA’s site has continuously evolved and now presents comprehensive content in an updated format with simplified navigation.
Long a pioneer in improving member services through technology, CMAA is pleased to provide members, industry colleagues, the public and the media exceptionally user-friendly access to the vast array of resources that CMAA provides. In addition to a new menu structure, the site now has distinct content areas for the many constituencies that CMAA serves: members, clubs, chapters, students and the wider club management industry. It incorporates a fast and comprehensive site search function and provides both “breadcrumb” navigation and a standard template to ensure that users know where they are within the cmaa.org information flow.
“After listening to our members and other interest groups, we have redesigned our site to better suit the needs of its users,” says CMAA Chief Executive Officer Jim Singerling, CCM, CEC. “The newly redesigned CMAA Web site is a culmination of more than a year of research and work by the CMAA staff.”
