(RIDGEFIELD, CT) – Boccieri Golf will showcase its new Heavy Putter MID-WEIGHT Series at the 2009 PGA Merchandise Show (Booth #2463) in Orlando,Florida, and for testing during Demo Day at nearby Orange County National Golf Center.
Each putter in the MID-WEIGHT Series weighs 750 grams, lighter than the company’s original models (900 grams) yet heavier than traditional offerings (500 grams). Nationwide consumer testing revealed that 7 out of 10 golfers preferred the MID-WEIGHT Series – three blades and two mallets in classic, time-honored designs — to other leading brands.

Available in either a black PVD or silver satin finish, the aesthetic MID-WEIGHT Series – like all Heavy Putter lines – incorporates a higher balance point created by a counter-weight in the butt end of the shaft that disengages the hands, promoting a smoother, more consistent pendulum stroke. The added mass in the head and grip automatically engage the body’s larger, more stable muscles for improved performance and consistency without altering a golfer’s motion.
