PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 22, 2009 – KemperSports today announced that Ross Liggett will assume responsibilities as sales and marketing director at Heron Lakes Golf Club. Heron Lakes is a 36-hole Robert Trent Jones II-designed municipal course owned by Portland Parks and Recreation and managed by KemperSports since June 2008. In his new role, Liggett will be responsible for steering sales and marketing initiatives and programs for the club.
An industry veteran for 10 years, Liggett most recently oversaw operations at Stratton Mountain Resort in Stratton Mountain, VT. A Massachusetts native, he attended the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech where he holds a degree in hospitality and tourism management.
“Ross is well prepared for his new position,” said Heron Lakes General Manager Stewart Koch. “His energy and enthusiasm make him a great addition to the Heron Lakes staff.”
