Butterfield Trail Golf Club in El Paso, Texas, and The Castle Course in St. Andrews, Scotland, have been honored as the 2008 winners in Golf Inc. magazine’s annual Development of the Year contest.
“This was one of the most competitive Development of the Year contests in recent memory,” said Chase Peckham, associate publisher of Golf Inc. “Despite the slowdown in golf development around the globe, we found that the quality of the entries was exceptional.”
Golf Inc. will honor the winners and finalists at the upcoming Golf Inc. Spring Conference at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fla., March 30-April 1, 2009.
The winners also are featured in the January-February issue of Golf Inc., available at http://www.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/cypress/golfinc0109.
