Mr. Weinman spent the past seven years as Senior Writer at The Journal News in White Plains, NY where he was the paper’s lead golf and hockey writer, covering local and national golf as well as the New York Rangers. Mr. Weinman also contributed to the paper’s Rangers blog and was a frequent guest on regional and national television and radio programs including The Golf Channel, NHL Network, MSG, WFAN and ESPN Radio.
Mr. Weinman has won numerous writing awards for news and features from the Associated Press Sports Editors and the Golf Writers Association of America.
Mr. Weinman is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and lives in Port Chester, NY with his wife, Lisa, and two sons, Charlie and Will.
