AUGUSTA, GA (Feb. 10, 2009) – David Hamilton has been named vice president-Global Strategic Accounts at Club Car. Hamilton will be responsible for strategic accounts and key industry relationships across worldwide golf markets. Hamilton had been vice president of sales for Club Car’s Golf Americas group since 2001.
In the newly created position, Hamilton will work with Club Car’s largest U.S. and global customers to provide a wide range of product and service solutions available from the Augusta-based manufacturer as well as from parent company Ingersoll Rand and members of the Club Car Solutions Network. Hamilton’s responsibilities also include relationships with organizations supported by Club Car, including the PGA of America, PGA Tour, European PGA, NGCOA, CMAA and GCSAA.
Outside of the golf market, Hamilton will oversee commercial strategic accounts with OEM partners including Husqvarna, RSC, Bobcat, Hertz and United Rentals.
Hamilton joined Club Car in 1988 as a territory manager and has held numerous management positions throughout the company’s sales organization.
