NEW BEDFORD, Mass., March 10, 2009 – AHEAD, a leader in golf headwear, apparel and accessories announced today that Jim Vincent has joined the company as the AHEAD sales representative for its Los Angeles, Calif., territory.
Vincent has been in the golf industry for 17 years. He has held sales positions with several of the top headwear, accessory and apparel companies within the industry.
“Jim’s vast knowledge of the soft goods business combined with his solid reputation and focus on service will be a great asset to our accounts in helping them grow their business profitably,” said Jeff Waller, national sales director for AHEAD.
Vincent’s family has strong roots in the golf industry. His grandfather, Jim, was an accomplished golf professional, playing in the first Masters, several majors and PGA events. His grandmother Elsie was known as the first woman sales rep in the golf industry and his father, Jim, received the PGA’s Ernie Sabayrac award for Lifetime Contributions to the golf industry.
Vincent will be selling the entire line of AHEAD and Kate Lord headwear, apparel and accessories.
