Association’s April ‘On Course’ Event Includes The ANNIKA Academy
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, March 17, 2009 – Annika Sorenstam, one of the greatest female golfers of all time and now an emerging entrepreneur will be the featured guest at the March 19th Web Café presented by the EWGA (Executive Women’s Golf Association), exclusively for its Executive Distinction members.
These live, half-hour web conferences are hosted by Pam Swensen, CEO of the EWGA, interviewing a wide range of fascinating people from the worlds of golf and business. Previous guests have included Dawn Hudson, former president and CEO of Pepsi-Cola North America; Cindy Davis, president of Nike Golf; and Joe Gibbs, founder of The Golf Channel.
“We are honored to have Annika participate in our Web Café series,” says Swensen. “Her achievements in golf are legendary — 10 Major Championships, 89 worldwide professional victories – the accomplishments go on and on. And now she is bringing that same competitive fire to her pursuit of the ANNIKA brand of businesses.”
In addition to The Web Café series, EWGA’s Executive Distinction includes access to invitation-only ‘On Course’ events, offering unique golf and networking opportunities at some of the country’s finest resorts. The first 2009 ‘On Course with the EWGA’ event is scheduled for April 19-21 at the Ginn Reunion Resort in Orlando, FL and includes innovative instruction at the ANNIKA Academy. Her boutique-like golf school offers individualized instruction by Annika’s own coaches in a unique state-of-the-art facility and luxurious setting.
Other added benefits for EWGA Executive Distinction members include complimentary general admission to LPGA Tour events and Gold Status in the Troon Golf Rewards program.
