INDEPENDENCE, MISSOURI – Stone Canyon Golf Club and OB Sports Golf Management recently announced the appointment of C.W. Woods as the General Manager for Stone Canyon Golf Club in Independence, Missouri. Located just east of Kansas City, Stone Canyon opens this spring and will boast a private 18-hole Greg Norman Signature Design. As the General Manger at Stone Canyon, C.W. will direct all aspects of the facility operations including golf operations, food and beverage, agronomy, sales and marketing and instructional programming.

Prior to his appointment as the General Manager at Stone Canyon, C.W. served as a golf professional at the OB Sports-managed Legacy Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada just off the Las Vegas Strip. C.W. also served as the director of golf operations at Tuscany Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada from 2003 to 2008. The appointment is a homecoming of sorts as C.W. was raised in “Show Me State” of Missouri.
