CULVER CITY, CA – Bethany College, Bethany West Virginia, is the third tour stop on the 2009 almostGOLF College Tour. Bethany College’s Student Activity Council is hosting the on campus golf event for students as part of its Fun Friday Student Program on Friday, April 24, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The almostGOLF College Tour will transform the area outside Bethany College’s Byrd Health and Wellness Center into a driving range and golf course. This fun event is open to all students.
Since almostGOLF’s revolutionary ball has successfully broken the safety barrier, it has made it possible to bring the game of golf to campuses across the United States and Canada. “The almostGOLF College Tour is the first ever golf tour that does what traditional golf has never been able to do…bring golf directly onto campus”, said Teddy Durkin, COO of almostGOLF. “We are really excited to be a part of Bethany College’s Fun Fridays and look forward to a continued partnership with Bethany College in years to come.”
