EL SEGUNDO, CA- Total Golf Adventures (TGA), The Premier Junior Golf Program, announced today that 370 summer camps will play host to youngsters ages 5 through 16 for the June through August months.
With 41 locations run nationally, the interest in TGA Summer Camps has grown exponentially. Franchise’s in both Bergen County, New Jersey and Charlotte, North Carolina had such an influx of children with their after school programs that they now have over 25 different summer camps running this year.
“Kids are interested in Total Golf Adventures Summer Camps because they see the quality of the after school programs and know that will translate through the summer camps,” said Kevin Rooney, TGA Director of the Bergen Country franchise.
TGA is known for its at-school, after school national golf program that introduces youth to the fun, positive, character-building aspects of golf.
“When opportunities are offered to the kids where they can receive real experiences on a golf course rather than being at their school, we see an overwhelming interest,” states Rooney. Supporting this notion is Champ Detamore, PGA Professionals and TGA Owner and Director of the Charlotte franchise whose after school program gained momentum by implementing a 2/1 scenario where they taught kids 2 classes at their facility and the 3rd class at a course.

TGA summer camps are tailored for all skill levels; from the beginning player just starting out to the more experienced player looking to hone their game at the tournament level. All camps are staffed by certified TGA instructors along with PGA and LGPA Professionals who focus on improving all aspects of each camper’s golf game through specifically designed lesson plans.
