FIRST TEE CAREER DAY AND JUNIOR CLINIC PRESENTED BY MEMORIAL HEALTH DWAINE & CYNTHIA WILLETT CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF SAVANNAH BENEFIT LOCAL YOUTH
SAVANNAH, GA – Officials of the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club announced today the details surrounding two of the tournament’s community initiatives benefitting Savannah-area youth during the 2024 event. First Tee Career Day and the Junior Clinic, both presented by Memorial Health Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah, will each be held on Monday, April 1, and provide a day of learning and fun for area youth to kick off tournament week.
The third annual First Tee Career Day presented by Memorial Health Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah will welcome members of First Tee – Savannah to the Landings Golf & Athletic Club, Deer Creek Course, for a look behind the scenes at a professional golf tournament and a chance to explore the many career opportunities available in the golf and club management industries.
Participants will experience a clubhouse tour and pastry-making session, a tournament gardening demonstration with hands-on floral installation and more. Attendance for the First Tee Career Day is available by invitation only. For information, please email john@firstteesavannah.org.

The sixth annual Junior Clinic presented by Memorial Health Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Deer Creek Course. The Junior Clinic will feature hands-on learning and activities with Korn Ferry Tour professionals, including inflatable targets and stations for chipping, putting, and full swing instruction. Participants will also enjoy complimentary food and beverage and a goodie bag.

The 2024 Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club is April 1-7, in Savannah, GA, at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club’s acclaimed Deer Creek Course. The tournament is open to the public Thursday, April 4 through Sunday, April 7. All kids 17* and under receive free general admission with a ticketed adult.
