IRVINE, CA – APRIL 12, 2010 – FOURTEEN GOLF, recognized as a worldwide leader in wedge design and a known favorite amongst top touring golf professionals, proudly announced that the company’s tour program is developing and its successful emergence at the Masters verifies that.

According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “The Masters and its coveted green jacket is the ultimate achievement for every PGA Professional. And, the FOURTEEN GOLF team; including myself are really proud that our equipment was trusted and played in the quest of capturing the most prestigious major of the year.”

FOURTEEN GOLF has enjoyed global success on many professional tours. Last year the company celebrated ten victories including a PGA win at the HP Byron Nelson. But this week’s Masters proved that the “best of the best” are playing FOURTEEN GOLF equipment.

PGA Tour Representative Rusty Estes has worked diligently for FOURTEEN GOLF over the past five years building relationships amongst the world’s best golfers. Estes, a veteran in the golf industry has been introducing the new product line which can be challenging but season after season, his hard work and FOURTEEN GOLF’s product line are excelling.

“Working with any new boutique golf company can be challenging but the rewards are innumerable. In a handful of years, we’ve grown the PGA Tour program from nothing to arriving at the 2010 Masters with PGA Professionals who had a real shot at winning,” stated Estes.

Augusta National is one of the most difficult courses played on the PGA Tour. Its beautiful dogwoods and ever present trees hide the undulating fairways, and fast greens. This year’s conditions albeit less painless still took out some of the tour’s most notable talent like Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh, and Jim Furyk to mention a few.

FOURTEEN GOLF is pleased that not only did several players use FOURTEEN GOLF equipment at the 2010 Masters but two made the cut and finished respectfully. The first talented golfer posted a personal best at the Masters and tied for 18th place with a 72, 73, 70, and 72 and captured his third Top-25 finish of the season. The second noteworthy performance came from a FOURTEEN GOLF fan and supporter who tied for 24th place by shooting even.

“We look forward to each tournament as FOURTEEN GOLF and its players continue to succeed. Last week, at the Shell Houston Open we had several PGA Professionals using our equipment and two finished with notable results, added Kamoda. “One top PGA Professional locked in his 4th Top-10 finish of the season and that placed him 7th on the Fed Ex standings. Another nice finish included a tie for 14th – his 3rd Top-25 of the 2010 PGA Tour season.”

Last year during the 2009 Golf Season, FOURTEEN GOLF was proudly credited with 10 professional golf victories; six which came from the LPGA and includes the HSBC Women’s Championship, Sybase Classic Presented by ShopRite, P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship Presented by John Q. Hammons, Sybase Classic Presented by ShopRite, Safeway Classic Presented by Coca Cola and the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger. The other wins came from a variety of professional tours including the HP Byron Nelson championship on the PGA, Master CG Ladies on the JLPGA, ILOVENY Championship on the Futures Tour and the Canadian Professional Golf Tour Riviera Nayarit Classic on the TLA.
