MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Shafts designed and manufactured by True Temper Sports dominated the pro tours with victories around the globe this weekend: Project X won The Quail Hollow Championship on the PGA Tour; Grafalloy, Project X and Rifle shafts combined for the win at the Spanish Open; and Grafalloy and Dynamic Gold grabbed victories on the Nationwide and Japanese PGA Tours.
On the PGA Tour, the 20-year-old Quail Hollow champion with Project X in his irons was able to shoot the lowest round in the field both on Saturday and Sunday and win the event by a staggering four strokes. Meanwhile on the European Tour, the champion won the Spanish Open using True Temper products throughout the entire bag- Grafalloy Blue X shafts in his driver, 3- and 5-woods, a Project X graphite in his hybrid and Rifle Lite shafts in his irons. Rounding out the winning weekend, Dynamic Gold Tour Issue shafts helped deliver a victory at The Crowns JPGA event and another win at the Nationwide Tour’s Stadion Athens Classic. The Nationwide winner played Dynamic Gold in his irons and Grafalloy ProLaunch Red in his driver.
