(Franklin, TN) The SeeMore Putter Company extends warm wishes to Zach Johnson and the rest of the US Ryder Cup Team this week. Zach had another extraordinary year on tour in 2010, concluding with a great weekend at the Tour Championship, where he led the field in putting average and fewest putts on the way to a torrid finish over the weekend at 7 under par and a top 10 finish.
Zach’s trusty SeeMore FGP blade putter in 2010 continued to help him establish himself as one of the greatest putters and players of his generation. For the year, he made 22 of 24 cuts, and went on a tear the second half of the season making him a clear choice for another Ryder Cup berth. Over the last 12 tournaments of the season, he made all 12 cuts, including a victory and 3 top 10’s. For the season he had 12 finishes in the top 25. And with his incredible record breaking victory at the Colonial Invitational (21 under par, 100 feet of birdie putts on the back 9 on Sunday)….he became one of only 2 players on the PGA Tour to record victories in each of the last 4 years. He finished the season 5th in putting average on the PGA tour, based on the strength of leading the tour in putting over the final 12 weeks of the season.
Deadly Precise Putters and Putting System
SeeMore putters feature its patented Riflescope Technology alignment system (RST), known by a visible gun sight on the top line, allows the golfer to set up the putter perfectly each and every time in relation to the intended target line. This is accomplished by lining up the black bottom portion of the shaft between two white lines and covering a signature red dot on the heel of the top line. The process is like locking radar onto a target. The two parallel white sight lines frame the shaft and serve as an indicator that the golfer is in perfect position to make a consistent and reliable stroke.
SeeMore originally became recognized when Payne Stewart won the 1999 U.S. Open playing a SeeMore putter in the greatest final round putting performance in US Open History. Stewart’s dramatic putt on the 18th hole to defeat Phil Mickelson was the longest putt to ever win the US Open on the final hole. Stewart also won the putting title for fewest putts per round over the entire 1999 season. The brand was re-launched in 2007, and immediately regained worldwide prominence as Zach Johnson used a SeeMore FGP to win the 2007 Masters. Johnson also set the all-time putting record on the Nationwide Tour for the entire season in 2003 (1.699 putts/GIR).
