LAKE MARY, FL – Four more companies recently committed to the 21st Annual ING Spring Conference at Innisbrook Resort May 22-26. Ashworth, PGA Golf Exhibitions, Pin High Pro, Razor Golf and Swan Lake Resort have all signed up at the Appointment Show or Demo Lab level of the ING Spring event.
Anyone in the golf industry or media is invited to attend the ING Spring Conference. Approximately 175 people are expected at this annual gathering of media and golf industry leaders, conducted by the non-profit International Network Of Golf. Ashworth has three new men’s collections this year. The pieces include woven and linen shirts, fashion slacks, a modern take on the classic golf jacket and hooded sweatshirts. Two women’s collections include lightweight tunics, cuffed cardigans and polos, puffy layering vests and sleek belted dresses. Ashworth has also introduced four footwear models that include, for the first time in the brand’s history, street shoes. Ashworth was acquired by the adidas Group in 2008, part of the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company.
PGA Golf Exhibitions conducts several golf shows throughout the year, including the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando in January and the PGA Golf Expo in Las Vegas in August. The PGA Merchandise Show is traditionally a barometer for the business of golf in the year ahead and this year’s event established an enthusiastic tone with increased participation levels across all segments and an uptick in business conducted. The 2011 PGA Fall Expo is set for Aug. 22-24 at the Venetian Hotel & Casino.

Swan Lake Resort, located in northern Indiana, is home to the United States Golf Academy and over 20,000 square feet of versatile meeting space. The cornerstone is Indiana National Golf Club at of Swan Lake Resort, featuring two golf courses – the Black and the Silver. There is a variety of accommodations, from deluxe rooms to log cabins.
The action-packed ING Spring Conference includes several product display and testing sessions. The conference also includes a revised educational format, featuring ActionCOACH as the workshop facilitator. There will also be tremendous networking opportunities, product displays and tests, and lots of golf. The very popular ING One-On-One Appointment Show will return to the itinerary. The appointment show provides attendees a platform for private meetings to encourage business relationships.
The new Golf Media Expo will be part of a revamped Sunday Night at the ING Spring Conference. Magazines, media websites and TV and radio shows that register for the conference will receive complimentary tabletop display space to show their materials, samples and more. Display space is limited.
Other highlights: a concert by rock star Jimi Jamison, and a keynote speech by national media figure Michelle Phillips.
