Mystical Golf, Buffalo Communications Extend Public Relations Partnership

(MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.) – Mystical Golf – owner and operator of acclaimed Man-O-War, The Witch and The Wizard golf courses with three distinct personalities in Myrtle Beach – has extended its partnership with Buffalo Communications (Buffalo) as public relations agency.

Reaching 4-1/2 stars from Golf Digest and named both “Best Bargain” and “The Best Value in America” by GOLF Magazine, each course in the Mystical trio is designed by celebrated architect Dan Maples. Man-O-War and The Wizard are adjacent and The Witch is just 10 minutes away. The markedly different designs of the layouts provide exciting variety for extended golf vacations and “buddy trips.”

About Mystical Golf

The Witch

Situated on 500 acres of tranquil cypress groves and wetlands teeming with flora and fauna, The Witch is a Myrtle Beach favorite. Well-placed tee shots to generous fairways, and razor-sharp iron approaches reward tactical play on the par-71, 6,702-yard layout. Man-O-War

The only course in Myrtle Beach on a 100-acre lake, the par-72, 6,967-yard Man-O-War is revered for its back-to-back island greens (Nos. 14, 15), an entire hole encircled by a lake (No. 9), and water features touching every hole. Its commanding 141 slope rating is offset by straight-forward shots and massive, bent-grass greens. Tantalizing par 5s beg golfers to go for the green in two shots. The Wizard

Reminiscent of classic, wind-swept links courses in Scotland and Ireland, The Wizard presents deep bunkers, mound-framed fairways and dramatic elevation changes. Dry gullies traverse several holes for challenge and authenticity. Golfers’ journeys crescendo with a one-two punch: The par-3 No. 17 tee shot negotiates a 60-foot drop onto a raised island green, and the par-4 No. 18 boasts an island tee, island fairway and peninsula green. Trademark stone bridges and an old-world, castle-style clubhouse add character.

Getting There

The Witch, Man-O-War and The Wizard are in the heart of Myrtle Beach and within 15 minutes of Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR), beaches, accommodations, restaurants and other attractions. A short distance from I-95 and other major thoroughfares, Mystical Golf courses are easily accessible.
