Educational Roundtable At ING Spring Conference Will Focus On How Technology Has Changed The Media

LAKE MARY, FL – Golf magazines, TV and radio shows and newsletters have had to adapt on the run to the fast-paced changes in technology, Social Media and the Internet. How far have they come, and where are they headed next?

The Food For Thought Breakfast Panel will address that topic on the first full day of the 21st Annual ING Spring Conference at Innisbrook Resort May 22-26.

Anyone in the golf industry or media is invited to attend the ING Spring Conference. Approximately 160 people are expected at this annual gathering of media and golf industry leaders, conducted by the non-profit International Network Of Golf. The media panel is set for Monday, May 23 at 8:30 a.m. during breakfast. The topic leaders are Doug Hollandsworth, Associate Publisher United States at Golf & Travel Magazine, and President/Owner at GolfLife Marketing; Lawrence Hollyfield, Managing Editor of digital publication Global Golf Post; and Ronnie Musselwhite, Editor of Golf Business Magazine. Todd Lewis of The Golf Channel will moderate the discussion.

The action-packed ING Spring Conference includes several product display and testing sessions. Spots still remain for displaying your golf clubs for testing by 60-plus members of the media at the Demo Lab. The very popular ING One-On-One Appointment Show provides attendees a platform for private meetings to encourage business relationships.

The new Golf Media Expo will be part of a revamped Sunday Night at the ING Spring Conference. Magazines, media websites and TV and radio shows that register for the conference will receive complimentary tabletop display space to show their materials, samples and more. Display space is limited.

The conference also includes a revised educational format, featuring ActionCOACH as the workshop facilitator. There will also be tremendous networking opportunities, product displays and tests, and lots of golf, a concert by rock stars Bobby Kimball, lead singer from Toto, and Buck Dharma of Blue Oyster Cult; A keynote speech by national media figure Michelle Phillips.
