BEDMINSTER, NJ (May 9, 2011) – As of April 26, Robert Mulcahy has entered into an agreement to purchase the interests of Bob Ford and Steve Archer in AMF Golf Management Services, LLC. Business previously conducted by AMF Golf Management Services, LLC will be provided by Golf Business Network, LLC (GBN).
Under the terms of the purchase, for a limited period, Ford and Archer will have a residual interest in the success of Golf Business Network, LLC, which will be run by Mulcahy and Lorin Anderson, who directs the GBN Instructor Division.
GBN’s operations will continue to focus on head golf professionals, assistant golf professionals and instructors, in addition to consulting to club and golf course operations. The company is committed to developing and implementing comprehensive services that provide innovative solutions to enhance both the game’s professionals and its facilities as the industry’s landscape continues to change. Through educational programs, management tools and business opportunities, GBN’s nearly 800 members receive ongoing guidance and support to deliver greater value to their clubs.
