(VIENNA, Virginia) – Buffalo Communications (Buffalo) – the global golf-lifestyle public relations, branding and marketing-communications firm that is a division of Billy Casper Golf – has named Scott Leightman as Public Relations Manager and promoted Jamie Brooks to Public Relations Specialist.
Leightman will open a new Buffalo office in Phoenix and oversee the hard-goods category within the firm’s golf and lifestyle products group. His responsibilities include developing and executing strategic media-outreach initiatives to secure sales-influencing editorial coverage about Buffalo clients in national and regional media.
With nearly 20 years of relevant experience, Leightman joins Buffalo after serving as Director of Public Relations at TaylorMade-adidas Golf, Vice President of Public Relations for the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats and Director of Basketball Communications for the Phoenix Suns. He holds a B.S. in sports communications from Ithaca College.
