New Bedford, Mass., June 20, 2011 -AJGA junior golfers recently took the time to write hundreds of individual thank you notes to AHEAD’s president Ken Shwartz, expressing appreciation for the company’s contributions to the American Junior Golf Association.
“It was a nice surprise to get a big box of thank you cards,” said Ken Shwartz. “We strongly believe that junior golf is a must for the future of the game and it is very gratifying to read the kid’s appreciation for our support. We’ve been a sponsor of the AJGA for seven years and enjoy a wonderful relationship with the organization.”
As part of their sponsorship, AHEAD provides headwear to all tournament participants. Through the letters, the junior golfers expressed how much they liked AHEAD’s AJGA caps and felt so “professional” wearing them.
Comments ranged from “You da man Mr. Shwartz” to “I love how the cap feels. I’m going to wear it every time I play golf.” Many understood that sponsorships, such as AHEADS’, help them compete for college scholarship while others were thrilled that their cap “matches everything I wear.”
The AJGA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf.
“The AJGA does a wonderful job with aspiring junior golfers,” said Shwartz. “I am particularly impressed that they make sure the kids understand the contributions of others in their quest for success. I think their future is off to a great start.”
