ORLANDO, Fla. – July 6, 2011 ̢?? As the Company celebrates the 5th anniversary of the popular, first-of-its-kind International Kids Golf-4-FREE program, Marriott Golf, one of the world’s premier golf operators, has announced that MetroWest Golf Club in Orlando has joined the Company’s portfolio of properties in offering one of the industry’s leading junior golf initiatives.
Since Marriott Golf created Kids Golf-4-FREE in 2006, the Company has hosted more than 50,000 junior golfers and their families in a program that has been replicated by hundreds of golf facilities and golf management companies worldwide. The program allows adults and kids to play and learn the game of golf together, as children up to 15 years old golf for free when accompanied by a full paying adult after 3 p.m. In addition, Marriott Golf offers free lessons anytime to kids up to 15 years old when accompanied by an adult who is taking a fully paid lesson from a Marriott Golf instructor.

Further complementing the Kids Golf-4-FREE program is Marriott Golf’s longstanding Family Golf Festival series, taking place at more than 32 properties in 2011. The Family Golf Festival, which encourages parents and children to learn and play the game together, invites families to Marriott Golf properties for an afternoon of FREE golf activities including clinics, contests, interactive golf games, chances to win a variety of prizes, special discounts at the Pro Shops, and much more. Thousands of families participate in the program each year at 19 Marriott Golf properties in North America, as well as 13 International destinations.
