TORONTO – Hollas plans to build on the success of its 2011 launch with the introduction of new collections for Spring 2012 at the PGA Expo in Las Vegas on August 23-24 (Booth 310).
“We exceeded our expectations in terms of product placement and overall sales in the United States in 2011. Now, our goal is to go deeper in existing accounts while extending our geographical reach into new markets,” said Don Nichols, founder of Hollas and partner of parent company, Second Skin Garment Company. “We believe our Spring line will help us meet these objectives.”
For Spring, Hollas is continuing to add a mix of products that range from traditional golf stylings to lifestyle-driven apparel that can be worn on and off the course. New items for Spring include:
•Collection of core apparel styles for juniors with shirts (solid, engineer, color blocks and plaid) and shorts (solid and plaid).
•Five-pocket pant and short, similar to the original Hollas bottom that made the company a category leader in Canada.
•Northern Golf Shirt, a technical polo with moisture management.
•Brixton pant that is an evolution of the successful Glen Check pattern.
•Lifestyle apparel ranging from new jeans and dress shirts to merinos (including windproof styles).
From a technical standpoint, Hollas continues be an innovator. It’s Spring line will feature a new XFC fabric on polos and bottoms. New designs will also feature the company’s proprietary Ice Cool fabric. The Spring styles will also incorporate four new color ways: classic black and white, Red Rose, Scuba Blue and Nightshade.
“Staying true to the Hollas heritage, all of the Spring garments will continue to emphasize performance and comfort on the course with styles that can be worn anywhere,” added Nichols.
Hollas, a recognized brand in Canada, began efforts to expand into the U.S. market in 2010. The company’s products have already been placed in high-profile facilities including Bighorn Golf Club, The Madison Club, Bandon Dunes, Circling Raven, Whisper Rock and more.
