On a new episode of Big Break Ireland, team emotions will run high when one competitor comes down with an unexpected illness during the series’ opening challenge, changing the face of the competition. Heading into Tuesday’s new episode, 10 competitors remain, with one competitor from each team (Liffey and Straffan) having been eliminated.
Big Break Ireland features an international cast of six men and six women competing against each other in an attempt to make their lifelong dreams of playing alongside the world’s top golfers a reality. Filmed at The K Club in Kildare, Ireland, the ultimate male or female winner will be awarded two exemptions from the four exemptions up for grabs – which represent events on the LPGA Tour, European Tour and Ladies European Tour – and more than $80,000 in cash and prizes, one of the most valuable prizes in the series’ 16-season history.
Feherty (Special Best Of! Episode)

Golf Channel’s Kelly Tilghman will turn the tables on David Feherty when she hosts a Special Best of! episode to wrap the freshman season of Feherty. Tilghman will interview Feherty about his favorite moments, interviews and reflections on having his own show.

Wednesday’s new episode of Golf in America will take a look at golf from a different perspective. The episode will first head to Wisdom, Mont., to feature the Big Hole Cow Pasture Golf Classic, a golf tournament with ATV’s, jeeps, unique hole locations and unique players. Then, visit the campus of Augusta State University in Augusta, Ga., home to the two-time NCAA national champion men’s golf team. Finally, the show will introduce viewers to Christopher Smith of Portland, Ore., a man who plays the game to a beat all his own, and at a pace unlike anyone else.
GolfNow: Ottawa

Host: Lauren Thompson
Host Lauren Thompson will take viewers to Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, on a golf getaway that will showcase the area’s top golf courses and everything the city has to offer. Thompson also will take viewers on a whitewater rafting trip and will be introduced to the sport of curling through her first-ever curling lesson from Ottawa native and former world champion, Craig Savill.
