Tables turned as Golf Channel’s Kelly Tilghman interviews David Feherty about his favorite season-one moments
ORLANDO, Fla. (Sept. 30, 2011) – Golf Channel’s Kelly Tilghman will turn the tables on David Feherty to host a Special Best Of! episode to wrap the freshman season of Feherty, Golf Channel’s hit, prime-time series. Tilghman will interview Feherty about his favorite moments, interviews and reflections on having his own show. The Special Best Of! season finale of Feherty will air Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 8 p.m. ET.
The special episode, which will expand to a full hour, includes interview highlights, outtakes and never-before-seen, behind-the-scenes moments from season one, including:
• What Feherty thinks is the best part of having his own show.
• How Feherty gets his guests to reveal things about themselves that they might not do in other interviews.
• Which guest surprised Feherty most.
• The best golf shot that Feherty has ever seen … and the worst.
• What it was like for Feherty to go home to Ireland, visit with his parents, interview Rory McIlroy and more.
Feherty, starring golf commentator and funnyman David Feherty, debuted in June as Golf Channel’s most-watched, original series premiere in its history. The show has been called “a cross between Oprah Winfrey and Johnny Carson” by The New York Times, “must-see TV” by the Orange County Register, and “a show that has all the ingredients to be a breakout hit” by The Augusta Chronicle.
The Feherty series features what the Northern Irishman-turned-American citizen calls “unfiltered” interviews with well-known and outspoken people from the world of sports, entertainment and golf, along with unique stories and anecdotes from his brilliant, yet zany mind.
