“The sales teams did an excellent job this year, despite the tough market conditions not the least of which was the impact of increased cotton prices that affected our product. The teams were challenged with increasing our customer base as well as increasing sales from existing customers and met both of these challenges, resulting in record setting top-line sales,” said Doug Kelly, CEO Imperial Headwear.
Fiscal Year 2011 brought many changes for the 95-year-old company including hiring new executives for the senior leadership team, creating a Resort division, expanding the Outdoor/Fishing division and consolidating operations of the Collegiate and Military division based in California.
“The past 12 months have brought a great deal of change to Imperial, including some great growth opportunities which helped solidify Imperial’s place as the leader in sportswear market.
