HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (November 1, 2011) – A world class professional golfer used Balance-Certified’s Shaft Stabilizer products to win twice in a row on the European Tour. The player won both the Andalucía Masters and the Castelló Masters events using Balance-Certified Golf’s technology in his irons, driver, and fairway clubs. In fact, at the Castelló Masters, he blistered the field finishing a full 11 strokes clear of his closest competitor.
The player began using Balance-Certified Golf’s Shaft Stabilizer products in his clubs in 2010. He has steadily improved his play and, to date, on the 2011 PGA and European Tours, he has competed in 28 tournaments with Balance-Certified’s Shaft Stabilizers on board finishing 18 times in the top 25 and 9 times in the top 10, earning $3,761,639.79. With the two most recent wins, he has once again broken into the Official Golf World top 20 netting a current rank of 18th.
Balance Certified Golf (BCG) Vice President and lead Tour Representative John Cranston said, “It is really satisfying for us to see our products being put into play week after week in the most competitive venues in golf. Specifically, these two most recent wins will really help us to set the stage for a strong start to 2012. We are completing the final stage of our new product development for next year and we will be debuting some really revolutionary new shaft performance enhancement technology at the PGA Show in Orlando in late January.”
Balance-Certified Golf introduced their first shaft weighting system back in 1999 quickly gaining support on all the major tours. Recently, they have pushed technology to the limit with the introduction of their “Structural Shaft Stabilization” concept. This new approach includes adjustable weights, but it is much more than just a weight. It structurally improves golf shaft performance by coupling the lower region of the shaft’s gripping area with the butt end of the shaft to improve bending stability during the down-swing. Balance-Certified is currently working with SK Fiber to create golf shafts that are specifically designed to take advantage of their Shaft Stabilization technology.
