New York, New York – November 2, 2011 – Summit Golf Brands is happy to announce the appointment of Brad Faxon as Director of Players and Partnerships for Summit Golf Brands.
In this new role, Faxon will work closely with Summit’s Corporate and Wholesale divisions in creating new programs that will add value to their company’s partners while also managing their player and PGA professional partnerships. Brad will also interface with Summit’s Product Development teams to further improve each products “Course Tested” and “Course Approved” programs for both Fairway & Greene and Zero Restriction.

About Brad Faxon
Brad Faxon had been one of the most successful players on the PGA Tour throughout the 1990s, a mainstay in the top 20 of the Official World Golf Rankings. Faxon has built a reputation as one of the best pure putters in golf history. He led the PGA Tour in Putting Average in 1996, 1999, and 2000 (when he set the single-season record with only 1.704 putts/greens in regulation). He has finished 1st on the PGA TOUR eight times and played on two Ryder Cup teams. He ranks 42nd in career earnings on the PGA TOUR. Faxon joined the Champions Tour on Aug. 1 when he turned 50 and wasted little time before registering his first Champions Tour victory at the Insperity Championship near Houston, his sixth official start on the circuit.
