Tampa, The Villages to host popular outdoor golf festival
ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 10, 2011) – Returning to the Sunshine State for its ninth consecutive year, Golfweek’s Golfest – the nation’s largest outdoor golf lifestyle extravaganza and demo day – today announced two Florida-based events for its upcoming 2012 festival series. Tampa Bay Downs Golf Practice Facility in Tampa will host the first event of the new year on Feb. 18-19, while The Polo Fields at The Villages will welcome back Golfweek’s Golfest on March 2-3.
Both the Tampa and The Villages events – presented by Transitions Championship and CenturyLink Prism, respectively – will give attendees the opportunity to try and buy golf’s hottest new equipment, apparel and accessories, all while enjoying entertainment by golf trick-shot artists, clinics by world-renowned golf instructors, long-drive exhibitions, prize drawings, contests, food, games and fun for the entire family.
