HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (January 23, 2012) – Balance-Certified Golf, Inc. will introduce two new patented shaft performance enhancement products in their booth at this week’s PGA Merchandise Show in the International Club Makers Guild Meeting Room 205B-C. Both Balance-Certified’s Power Transfer InsertsTM for woods and their Accurizer InsertsTM for irons improve swing plane control by limiting unwanted grip-end shaft deflection. Independent swing robot test results will be released at the show that document an 8-yard increase in driver distance as well as a very significant improvement in accuracy. Power Transfer InsertTM technology will also be available with a custom shaft designed by SK Fiber Golf called the Quantum PL.
As with all Balance-Certified products, this new technology was first proven to perform on Tour with the world’s best players prior to being released to the retail golf market. In fact, one player used this technology in 2011 to earn more than four million dollars ($4,060,322) on the European and PGA Tours, winning twice in a row along with nine top 10s and nineteen top 25s. He began 2011 in 80th position in Official World Golf Ranking and with Balance-Certified technology in his irons, driver, and fairway clubs, he improved 63 ranking positions to 17th by the end of the year.
Balance Certified Golf (BCG) Vice President and lead Tour Representative John Cranston said, “It is really satisfying for us to see our products on TV in play week after week in the most competitive venues in golf. We were very successful on Tour last year and the golfing consumer will benefit this year as we are introducing our new products in kit formats with very reasonable retail prices. We expect to be able to retail a 3-unit Power Transfer Insert kit for less than $130 and a 7-unit Accurizer kit for less than $210. For the first time, customers will be able to economically equip more clubs than just their putter and driver.”
Balance-Certified’s President, Jeff Lindner, added, “The Power Transfer InsertTM and the Accurizer InsertTM products generate improved ball flight with increased power and accuracy. The system is analogous to a car’s sway bar and affects club frequency by less than 1 cycle per minute. It actually took some effort to figure how to limit shaft deflection without changing a shaft’s natural flexural characteristics. This was the key to designing a system that improved shaft performance without destroying the shaft’s original engineered and properly fitted properties.”
Attendees of the PGA show will have the opportunity to see the Power Transfer InsertTM and the Accurizer InsertTM as well as the Quantum PL shaft products at this week’s PGA Merchandise Show in the International Club Makers Guild Meeting Room 205B-C. Robot test results as well as demo clubs will be on hand for fitters and customers to evaluate first hand. Off-site professional fitters and green grass fitters alike are welcome to stop by and learn more about improving their retail sales opportunities with Balance-Certified Golf.
