ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 22 – This week, Golf Channel on NBC Essayist Jimmy Roberts will make his host debut on Golf Channel when he guest hosts Morning Drive all week, joining co-hosts Gary Williams and Holly Sonders.
Morning Drive will expand Wednesday-Friday to deliver comprehensive news coverage of the PGA Merchandise Show, the Farmers Insurance Open and the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, featuring Tiger Woods’ 2012 debut. Wednesday’s Morning Drive will expand to four hours (7-11 a.m. ET), followed by Thursday and Friday’s shows airing live from 8-10:30 a.m. ET.
Featured guests this week include renowned instructors Butch Harmon and Hank Haney – who will officially announce his subjects for the newest season of The Haney Project – and Hall-of-Famers Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo, Charles Barkley and Jim Courier. Hall-of Famer Annika Sorenstam will join Roberts as a co-host on Thursday.
