Opening dates and rates for popular golf courses in the region include:
Hideaway Hills: Currently open; $30 midweek; $35 weekends with cart, through April 28.
Split Rock: Opened Monday; Rates $10/9 holes, $20/18 holes
Woodloch: Opened Monday for 9 holes; full 18 to open this weekend; $25/9 holes, $35/18 holes through April
Glen Brook: Opening Wednesday: $32 Midweek; $45 Saturday-Sunday through March
Shawnee: Opening this Friday; $25/18 holes through April 20
Cherry Valley: Opening March 19
Inn at Pocono
Manor: West Course to open March 24; East Course to open May 1; $30 Weekdays/$35
Saturday-Sunday through April.
Jack Frost
National: Opening March 24 (Reservations starting March 19); $40 through March
Skytop: Opening March 30
Fernwood: Opening March 30; Season passes now on sale starting at $500
Buck Hill: Opening April 1
Mount Airy: Opening April 1; Monday, Tuesday and Thursday specials will be available.
Golfers looking for added value can also purchase the 2012 Golf-A-Round card at http://www.poconosgolf.com, which costs $40 and offers two $25 rounds on each of eight area golf courses, including Fernwood, Hideaway Hills, Jack Frost National, Mount Airy, Pocono Manor, Shawnee, Split Rock and Woodloch.
