PHILADELPHIA, PA (March 29, 2012)- Horsham Family Golf, home of the Flagler Golf Academy, has become the newest sponsor of GolfTalk Live, the award-winning weekly radio show in Philadelphia.
For the last year, under new ownership, Horsham Family Golf on Route 611 in Horsham, has been undergoing a major facelift that is making it the finest all-around golf practice facility in the Greater Philadelphia Area. In addition, with the incorporation of the Flagler Golf Academy, the golf center also becomes a leader in the areas of club-fitting and golf instruction. “Our goal is to make this a one-stop location for everything a golfer could need,” explained Flagler, a PGA professional who has put together a staff of like-minded and passionate instructors. “While the facility offers recreation for children and practice for the more serious golfers, now we can provide every other golf service … and provide it at the highest level.”
In addition to the mini-golf and both indoor and outdoor driving range bays, Horsham Family Golf also has a short game practice area that even includes practice bunkers. In the spacious clubhouse, Flagler and his staff offer club repairs, expert club-fitting and even indoor golf instruction that can be taken to the course later.
Flagler also will serve as an expert consultant to GolfTalk Live for all equipment issues that arise during the course of the year. Whether it is to explain why so many pros have taken to using the belly putter, or why high-handicap amateurs might benefit by using a driver with an increased loft, Flagler will be on 24-hour call with the radio show.
“He is our go-to guy with regard to all equipment issues,” explained GolfTalk Live host Tony Leodora. “There is so much misinformation circulating in golf circles and it is important to have an expert that you can depend on to wade through all of the verbal clutter.”
The exact location of the facility is 1020 Easton Road in Horsham. and further information can be found on the website, www.horshamfamilygolf.com.
GolfTalk Live airs 52 weeks a year from 7 to 8 a.m. each Saturday on WNTP 990-AM and on www.wntp.com. It also can be heard any time during the week after the show airs, by going to the website, www.golftalklive.net. For the third time in the last four years, GolfTalk Live was voted the Best Golf Radio Show in America by the International Network of Golf.
