Players will compete in a 3-tournament points race for an exemption into the United Leasing Championship, June 28-July 1
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (March 30, 2012) – Things are definitely heating up on Gateway Pro Tour’s Arizona Winter Series as players are vying to not only move up the money list, but are also competing for the highly-sought after Q-School Bonuses and Nationwide Tour exemptions being awarded by Gateway.
GPT officials announced today that a second Nationwide Tour exemption will be up for grabs for GPT members in the coming weeks. The winner will be determined by a three-tournament Points Race that will take place over the last three tournaments of the Arizona Winter Series in April.
Brady Stockton earned the first Nationwide Tour exemption this season, and will be playing in the BMW Charity Pro-Am, May 17-20 in Greer, South Carolina. The second exemption will be good for a spot into the United Leasing Championship at Victoria National Golf in Newburgh, Ind., June 28 – July 1.

The cumulative Points Leader at the end of the three-tournament Points Race will be awarded the coveted Nationwide Tour exemption. The Points Race competition will start at Wigwam Golf Club, (April 11-13), then travel to Trilogy Golf Club – Vistancia (April 18-20), before concluding at Encanterra Country Club (April 25-27). ONLY GATEWAY PRO TOUR MEMBERS are eligible to participate in the Nationwide Tour exemption Points Race.
