Malvern, PA. (April 9, 2012) – The Play Better Golf Program, a program created by the professionals at Play-a-Round Golf in Malvern, golf fitness experts with FitGolf Enterprises, and John Dunigan, Master PGA Professional, has been named GolfTalk Live’s Product of the Month for April.
Steve Graves, owner and president of Play-a-Round Golf, Dave Ostrow, CEO of FitGolf Enterprises (formerly Body Balance for Performance), and John Dunigan, Master PGA Professional have decided to team up to bring their customers a special program they call the Play Better Golf Program: A Balanced Approach to Lower Scores. Together they want to help golfers find out what is holding back their game and give a targeted, systematic solution. The program centers on the idea that science has shown a golfer’s ability to play better golf can be observed and measured by making improvements to specific golf skills and fitness. The FitGolf trainers prescribe specific drills for golfers to eliminate their fitness obstacles.
“By understanding how you move and what your limitations are, we are able to provide a golfer with the most efficient and effective path to more distance, more consistency, and less pain along with their golf,” says Ostrow.
The second component of the partnership, Master PGA Professional and Philadelphia PGA Teacher of the Year, John Dunigan provides golf skill assessment tools and drills designed to help you focus on improving the most important golf skills specific to your game.
Dunigan put it this way, “Once we have evaluated your ball control skills (distances between clubs included) we will start you on a program of specific drills designed to improve your skills in an orderly fashion. You won’t be guessing any more. You won’t need to wander aimlessly through the myriad golf instruction that’s out there. You’ll be on a long term path to systematic, continued golf improvement.”
The third key to this unique balanced approach to play better golf is provided by Play-a-Round Golf’s seven (7) aboutGolf “feedback machines.” These state-of-the-art golf simulators powered by FlightScope® launch monitors and integrated video, enable customers to record their golf swing data and videos into the golfer’s private folder and view it through the Internet.
“You wouldn’t expect to go to a doctor’s visit without accurate measurement and tracking of your illness. You shouldn’t accept anything less when trying to improve your game,” says Graves. “Our tools will help you measure your efforts and focus your time and money where it’s needed the most.”
“This is the most comprehensive program yet for someone who is really serious about improving their game,” says GofTalk Live host Tony Leodora. “The program combines the efforts of acknowledged experts in their fields.”
