Future Champions Golf is excited to announce our 1st Collegiate Golf Event! We have been hosting premier junior golf events since the end of 2007 and built a strong reputation for excellent tournament operations as well as drawing great fields for each of our Championships. The concept behind this event is to be able to host what will hopefully feel like an Alumni Event from the players that grew up playing in our Junior Events. They will get 4-5 more years to come out to our Annual College Event and compete.
The event is open to all College Age Amateur Golfers. Each player will have their school listed next to their name on the website and leaderboards. The tournament staff at PGA West and the La Quinta Resort is very excited to help us host this new event! We are finalizing some special events during the tournament and these will be released on our website very soon. If you have any questions about this event please let us know. Host Hotel – La Quinta Resort with 40 Pools and Over 800 Rooms (www.laquintaresort.com )
Format – 54-Hole Stroke Play Event – No Cut
Who Can Play? – Men and Women age 17-23 who are enrolled in college. Open to players who just graduated from High School and those who just graduated College.
Tees – Men will play from 7000 Yards / Women will play from 6000 Yards
Shotgun Start – 7:30am Each Day and all players will ride in carts
Practice Rounds – $35 and include carts
