Future Champions Golf is thrilled to announce a new relationship with the Odyssey Golf Company. Odyssey to be the title sponsor of the Future Champions Golf World Championship annually held at PGA West and La Quinta Resort. The event takes place July 16-18, 2012 and Odyssey will be on hand to provide a great experience for the junior golfers.

The Odyssey World Junior in its 4th year is still an open event to all competitive junior golfers. “We have room for 400 Junior Golfers in 2012 and we hope to reach those numbers this year. The field already consists of 120 players representing 13 countries. Future Champions Golf is committed to creating opportunities both for the highly competitive players and those who need the experience the get their game to the next level. This event is perfect for every competitive and passionate junior golfer taking their game seriously. We have divisions for players age 7-18. We look forward to a great event!

The Odyssey World Junior is part of the Future Champions Golf / Callaway World Series Events. Players come from all over the world to compete in this event. Play is held on select courses at PGA West including the Stadium Course, Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course, and the La Quinta Mountain Course. Top finishers receive AJGA PBE and a special exemption into the Bobby Chapman for the Boys 15-18 Winner. The event is ranked by Golfweek, NJGS, Tour Rescource Center, and the Royal and Ancient World Amateur Rankings.

o Odyssey Closest to the Pin Contests on All par 3’s

• July 15 – Optional Practice Round Day and Welcoming Party presented by Odyssey

o Odyssey Golf Putting Contest at La Quinta Resort

o Special Event for High School Golfers with Former Head Coach for USC and Founder of Road to College Golf – Ted Gleason

• July 16 – First Round of Play (730am Shotgun)

o Evening Golfsmith Pizza Party and Shopping Experience

• July 17 – 2nd Round of Play (730am Shotgun)

o Evening Special Event at La Quinta Resort

• July 18 – Final Round of Play (730am Shotgun) / Awards Immediately Following Play
