FlightScope On The Tee At The BMW PGA Championship 2012

ORLANDO, FL – May 24, 2012 – FlightScope, creator of the world’s first 3D tracking radar for golf, will be in action at the 2012 BMW PGA Championship held at the Wentworth Club in Surrey, England from 24 -27 May.

FlightScope will have its tournament system setup on the 1st tee Thursday and Friday and on the spectacular 18th tee on Saturday and Sunday. Player driving data will be displayed on large digital scoreboards and give fans in the grand stands a peek at their favorite player’s drives. FlightScope data will be displayed in real time and includes the ball trajectory with landing spot, ball speed, club speed , apex height, spin rate, launch angle and carry distance.

The BMW PGA Championship is the flagship event on the European Tour and usually attracts a star studded field and with this year being no different, the top 3 players in the world will be in action giving fans the ultimate glimpse into what it takes to be a top ranked player in the world.
