The U.S. Open is scheduled for June 12-15 and the U.S. Women’s Open is June 19-22 and both championships will be played at Pinehurst No. 2.

Approximately 7,000 volunteers will be needed to fill positions on 18 committees, including corporate hospitality, leaderboards, marshals and merchandise. With back-to-back championships on Course No. 2, volunteers will be able to choose from three volunteer options in an effort to accommodate their availability throughout the two weeks. Each volunteer shift will last five to six hours. Volunteers may choose from one of the following options:

Option One – Five-Shift Minimum: Three shifts will be scheduled during the U.S. Open and two shifts will be scheduled during the U.S. Women’s Open.

Option Two – Four-Shift Minimum: Three shifts will be scheduled during the U.S. Open and one shift will be scheduled during the U.S. Women’s Open.

Option Three – U.S. Open Championship or U.S. Women’s Open Championship: Four shifts will be scheduled during the U.S. Open or U.S. Women’s Open ONLY.

All volunteers are required to purchase the volunteer package for $175. The uniform is specifically designed for the 2014 U.S. Open Championships, which consists of two golf shirts, one jacket and one piece of headwear. A credential based on the selected volunteer option will also be given. Volunteer positions will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
