(CHICAGO, IL) – Forest Preserve District of Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle and legendary golfer Billy Casper will tee off the inaugural Conservation Cup Golf Outing sponsored by the Forest Preserve Foundation on Thursday, September 13, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the George Dunne National Golf Course in Oak Forest, IL.
The Cup will raise funds to expand educational and outdoor adventure activities for disadvantaged children in the Forest Preserve District of Cook County, the first and largest forest preserve system in the U.S. The $300 per player or $1,000 per team entry fee includes green and cart fees, lunch, on-course prizes, dinner, drinks, and silent and live auctions.
President Preckwinkle and Casper will deliver opening remarks before the 1 p.m. shotgun start, and Casper will offer tips to golfers, sign autographs and take photos. Both will attend the awards dinner.
