ORLANDO, FL – February 27, 2013 – FlightScope, maker of the world’s first 3D Doppler radar for golf introduced yet another world first, its latest and most innovative app yet, VX2, featuring split screen video analysis with 3D club data or ball flight trajectory for comparison on any compatible tablet with a built in camera.
FlightScope VX2 can be used indoors or outdoors with a wireless X2 launch monitor. One exciting new feature of the app is the ability to synchronize the radar club and ball flight data, to the video images taken from the tablet’s camera, shot by shot, and to allow traditional video analysis techniques to be applied simultaneously. Shots can then be viewed in 3D from every angle, and the session uploaded to the FlightScope web platform MyFlightScope.com, for further analysis.
The VX2 app also features 24 data parameters making the FlightScope X2 launch monitor the most complete teaching, club fitting and training tool in golf. Another brand new feature is the sensor alignment tool that allows a user to wirelessly align the radar to a target using the camera on the tablet.
The new app has been well received by industry experts with influential golf site, GolfWRX, naming it one of the best products at this year’s PGA Merchandise show. The VX2 app will be available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
