TrackMan University is pleased to announce the spring 2013 TMU workshop schedule. The workshops are designed to provide education supported by TrackMan research and findings. The primary focus of the workshops is to cultivate a better understanding of club delivery and the resulting ball flight. “As an instructor, it is critical to be able to diagnose ball flight. It comes down to three simple yet often misunderstood variables: club direction, face orientation, and impact location,” affirmed Matt Frelich, PGA Professional and VP of Sales & Business Development.
Understanding cause and effect will provide a greater knowledgebase for the instructor and in turn allow the instructor to diagnose and communicate the correct prescription in a more efficient manner. Frelich went on to say, “Instruction is about helping your students play better golf. The information presented in the TrackMan University workshops helps instructors become more efficient with the time they have with their students. Our goal is to impart knowledge that makes students better, faster.”
Breakout sessions during the workshop will allow attendees to put their newfound knowledge into action. The groups will utilize the TrackMan system and data to complete challenges set forth based on the information presented throughout the day.
Insights relating to data gathered through the TrackMan Combine will also be presented. The TrackMan Combine is a standardized skill assessment that has been taken by thousands of golfers of all skill levels from all around the world. Using information about the golfer such as age, handicap, club speed, and more, TrackMan has analyzed the data and will report on some interesting findings.
