POWAY, Calif. – Led by their most popular shafts series, RIP, Aldila captured the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to remain the #1 shaft on Tour. “The Hottest Shafts In Golf” had 10 more wood shafts and eight more hybrid shafts in play than its closest competitor, according to the Darrell Survey.

“The top players on the PGA Tour continue to trust Aldila’s RIP (Reverse Interlaminar Placement) Technology™ because it provides them with lower torque, increased tip stability and better tip stiffness control,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “With the RIP, Aldila engineers employed patent-pending technology and exclusive materials to completely transform shaft design from the inside out providing players with shot control.”

Aldila’s RIP series features five different wood shafts to help meet the needs of a variety of players. RIP Alpha, Beta, Gamma, RIP’d NV and RIP Phenom. Aldila will also be introducing its new RIP iron shafts later this summer.

The eighth place finisher at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the second place finisher at the Tampa Bay Championship are both using Aldila’s new graphite RIP iron shafts in their irons. According to Aldila engineers, the company’s new graphite irons will afford golfers unrivaled consistency; straightness and low torque with optimum feel when they are released later this summer.

On the Web.com Tour, the Most Accurate Driver at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open played Aldila’s NVS 65 X shaft in his driver. He finished 1st with an overall driving accuracy percentage of 80.18 percent and posted a 4th place finish in the tournament, his best this season.
