Winter Haven, FL – Volvik, the #1 Color Golf Ball on Tour, finished with a runner up finish and a Top 10 finish at the at Florida Natural Charity Classic on the Symetra Tour Sunday.
Courtney Massey of Australia finished as the runner up at the event playing a Pink Volvik golf ball. Massey shot a tournament low 66 Sunday in windy conditions to elevate herself to the T2 finish and to move herself into the #6 position in the Volvik Race for the Card. Massey currently ranks #1 in putting average on the Symetra Tour.
“Looking at the course this week I could tell that it was going to be all about placement on both the fairways & the greens,” said Massey. “The Volvik ball had very little movement in the wind and on the green which helped me make a move in these tough conditions.”
Former LPGA Tour major champion Birdie Kim also finished in the Top 10 at the Winter Haven event playing a Volvik golf ball. Kim now ranks 12th in the official Volvik Race for the Card standings.
Seven of out of 11 players using Volvik golf balls made the cut at the Florida Natural Charity Classic.
