A windy final round proved to be no match for the left-handed Oklahoma State alum and his 17″ Slim belly grip. The Texas native posted 25 birdies and an eagle on his way to his first Web.com Tour victory, just a week after finishing runner-up at the Chile Classic. The lefty has moved from 6th to 1st on the Web.com Tour money list with this win.
Over at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, a native of Madrid, Spain put “The Claw” prototype in play for the first time and finished T3, his highest finish ever on the PGA Tour. “The Claw” is a 13″ modified pistol grip that offers variation to players using alternate gripping styles. The expected release date of this grip is June 15th.
SuperStroke Golf also finished T4 at the Maybank Malaysian Open on the European Tour. The native of France used the Fatso 5.0 for his best finish of 2013. The Fatso 5.0 is the largest offering of the SuperStroke grip line, measuring 1.67″ in diameter, and further enhances the pendulum putting motion.
Tour money earned this week pushed SuperStroke player earnings over $10 million for the year.
