Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday Announces Sold Out ‘Monday After the Masters’

Wildly Popular Pro-Am Features Celebrities, PGA TOUR Stars, ESPN’s ‘Mike & Mike in the Morning’

(MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.) — Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday — the Grand Strand’s golf marketing cooperative – announce a sold out crowd of more than 6,000 spectators will attend the annual Hootie & The Blowfish Monday After The Masters Celebrity Pro-Am (MAM), April 15.

Held on the Dye Club at Barefoot Resort, scheduled event participants include NFL greats Bruce Smith, Sterling Sharpe and Jim McMahon; PGA TOUR stalwarts David Love III, Boo Weekley and Dustin Johnson; music industry stars Darius Rucker and Javier Colon; and NASCAR’s Michael Waltrip. ESPN’s “Mike & Mike in the Morning” will simulcast live for ESPN Radio and ESPN2 on the 1st tee.

MAM is the largest one-day charity event in South Carolina having raised more than $4 million in its history benefiting state education programs and the South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation.

The Dye Club will also be the championship playoff venue of the 30th annual GOLF.com World Amateur Handicap Championship held August 26 – 30 Registration for the four-day, 72-hole event is $450 through May 15, a $100 savings off of the regular entry fee of $550. Registration is available at www.worldamgolf.com.
